A Traditional, All-Purpose Knife Used For Woodworking And Bamboo Crafting, The Handle And Scabbard Are Made Of Hoh (Magnolia). The Blade Is Beveled On One Side, Creating A Thinner Edge Than A Knife Beveled On Both Sides, Which Allows Extremely Fine Cuts. Also, Only The Beveled Side Requires The Main Sharpening, So Less Time Is Required For Maintenance.

Variation:
Variation In The Natural Wood Grain. Knives That Are Not Hammered But Manually Forged Employ Metals Such As Pre-Bonded Steel. They Are Shaped By Pressing Devices Holding The Kiridashi Knife Molds. This Results In Slight Size And Weight Variations.

History:
